as you can see she is a pretty dog. Unfortunately she does not show well behind bars and potential caretakers bypass her every time.
Starr has found the Ark on her own and she brought her puppies with her. She was all skinny and worn out because she gave all she had to her young.
Her offspring got adopted and she is still at the Ark, not that we mind, we all lover her.
Last summer she was the last to be out in the play yard goofing off. When I checked on her to bring her in for the day, she run for me and poked my hand and ran back, where she licking the floor.
She repeated it 3 times, so I went and checked what she wanted.
On the ground there where 2 naked baby birds who had fallen out of the nest. She licked them to keep them warm and she supervised us as we put them back in to the nest.
I let you in on a little secret, Starr loves big male dogs, she absolutely did fall in love with a German Shepard "Zeus", who already went on to a new good home.
She also loves to play and run free (play yard) when she gets a chance.
