Adventures of Former Ark dogs... Toby & Hershey

The day began as usual with an early burst of sunshine in the window and mama squealing with her high-pitched voice "Gooooood Mooooorrrrrrnnnnnning!! How's my puppies!?!" Then we get hooked up on those blue restraint devices and head for the outdoors where we happily relieve ourselves.

With the sun in our face, we take a walk around the neighborhood dodging other dog walkers as I myself don't care much for people who aren't "mom or dad." Toby on the other hand could care less who he runs into, he loves everyone... except cable guys... he has a weird thing with them. After our walk, we have a nice, cool and refreshing drink of water and nap for an hour or two.

Mom then takes us for a short afternoon walk when she takes a break during the day from working. She loves walking with us. We love walking too as we get cookies after each one. ;) If the weather is nice and no rain, mom will put us in our outside area. It's pretty nice, but we like hanging with mom best.

Evenings is when all the fun happens.

This week in our walk, we had a little sprinkling of rain and got to see a big beautiful rainbow. It was lovely. We chased a lot of frogs too, but mom won't let us catch a one of them. :P

The Adventures of Radius!

Hi, My name is Radius and I'm a former Ark cat. I was rescued from the Huntsville Animal Control by a sweet Lady named Nina. She ran this place called the Ark. I had heard good things about this mysterious place, but had no idea what it was till I got there.

I immediately was rushed from the Animal Control to the Ark's vet (I honestly didn't like that part, but... you know how it goes). After I got my wellness exam and was neutered, I was taken to the Ark. I got my own private room for a while filled with toys, my personal kitty throne and tall trees to climb. I got to see lots of people every day that would come in and give me massages and brush my fur. It was great. They even played with me!! A dream come true. Then, I got to ride on this cart every morning throughout the shelter to greet all the dogs in the shelter. It was a lot of fun, plus I liked the kitty treats too. ;)

But best of all... there was this one guy that came in every Friday and sat with me. He held me on his chest and just snuggled and loved on me. After a good month of this, he decided to take me home with him and boy... I love it! It is even better than the Ark. I sleep on a huge, comfy bed. I get to bird watch whenever I like and have the best meals.

I even got a brother named Andy. We get into a lot of mischief together. ;)
