Odie is a very sweet dog. He likes to move and also attention from people.
The little rascal loves to play catch and is trying to snuggle.
Trying to snuggle in his case means, he never did learn to, so he comes, presses his little head on you, gets some strokes and with all that attention and excitement, he has to run a few rounds before he comes back for more.
I am sure if he would have a steady home and someone to show him what proper snuggles and love are he would come and ask for more of it.
The key to Odies heart is a gentle steady demeanor and bit of patients.
The reward counts double as high when he trusts you and comes on his own for some snuggles.
So if you are interested in helping Odie, please ask a volunteer to bring him out of his confinement, because he does not show well (like most of the dogs) when in his pen.
Walk him around the block yourself and see if you like him.
